With kids of different ages and especially as the older ones get to school age we spend our weekends on Family Adventures - however, the youngest ones do struggle with this and their little legs can't easily keep up. Finding a stroller that will cope with what we put it through - there's going to be mud, water, picnics and changes of clothes to carry as well as enabling the youngest to feel part of the family and not just shoved in as they start to complain about their legs being tired hasn't been easy and we've tried a few.

We received the Britax Smile for the purpose of review but all views are our own.
the new BRITAX SMILE pushchair offers a stylish travel solution for parents looking for a pushchair that will make getting around with baby a breeze – whether it’s a trip to the shops, an evening stroll or a country picnic on a sunny summer’s day.
It's promotional information proclaim it's the perfect travel solution that will make getting around with a baby a breeze. Now our baby is 2 not that young but she still naps daily and we've got some big adventures planned this year, but with two 5 and a 4 year olds away keeping to the well trodden path isn't on the game plan. So to test out the Britax Smile we headed to Thetford Forest for a day following the Superworm Trail and Adventure playgrounds.

4 adults, 4 children, 2 picnic bags, 2 back packs, nature finds, drinks plus camera equipment it's quite a load and the first thing that the Britax Smile astonished us with is the size of the shopping basket - EVERYTHING and I do mean everything that we carried was able to fit in the shopping basket - and big bonus - as it was all balanced even without a child in the stroller it didn't fall over. We've had different makes of buggies and strollers and in most you struggle to fit a changing bag let alone the amount of belongings that we took along for a full day out.

The woods is a place that strollers struggle - but with air filled rear wheels it managed everything - and you know with 2 men on the day out we really put it through it's paces - mud was no match, neither were tree trunks, bark chippings, forest floor or sand in the play areas. When asked the 2 year old said it was her favourite buggy ever!

With removable seat, basket and hood to clean up easily plus coming with a rain cover (so handy in the UK and on our planned summer trip!) it makes it easy to look after and deal with the mess of having a baby, toddler or preschooler. Of our buggies and strollers this has to be the best and I wish it had been around when we brought our first one as with it being compatible with other Britax equipment like the car seat and carry cot we could have used the same frame all the way through and not been limited on what we could do or struggled to do what we wanted with the buggy and strollers we had - Next trip out we're going to put it to the BIG test a day at the beach.
